Anthony Joshua’s Clean Herts Community has facilitated an acting workshop featuring Michael B. Jordan, Ryan Coogler, and Jack O’Connell.
Two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has supported the development of young performers from his hometown of Watford through a workshop delivered by his charity, Clean Herts Community.
The session, which took place in London and was led by Hamilton’s Samuel Sarpong, featured appearances from film director Ryan Coogler and actors Michael B. Jordan and Jack O’Connell. Joshua, currently in Nigeria, joined the workshop virtually.
The young participants were also invited to attend the European premiere of Sinners at Leicester Square, ahead of its UK release on 18th April.
The workshop is part of a wider effort by Clean Herts Community to create opportunities for local youth through sport, education, and cultural engagement.
In recent months, the organisation has hosted football camps, cooking and science classes, and a Christmas hospital visit.
In November, CHC also collaborated with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to involve local children in the launch of Red One, marking a similar initiative to connect Watford’s youth with the entertainment industry.
