Jonathan Owens has admitted that Simone Biles is the supreme athlete in their relationship!
During his appearance on the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year red carpet, alongside Biles, the two answered rapid fire questions in context to their double athlete household.
The 29-year-old proudly admitted that when it comes to who is the better athlete, the trophy goes to his wife.
Owens, who is the Chicago Bears safety was quick to name the 7-time Olympian when the two were asked who is the best, replying, “I’m not doing no backflips. Nah,” prompting laughter from both of them.
And when it comes to being the best cheerleader, Biles chose her husband, stating, “Jonathan, he knows more and he really pays attention.”
Comparing herself and her less-than-attentive football-watching habits, she continued, “After the first half, I lose track of the game.”
“She’ll hear everybody else yelling and she’ll be like, ‘What happened,’ ” Owens joked as he chimed in while spinning his head around. “But you know, it’s the thought that counts, I love it.”
