Simone Biles recently celebrated a major personal milestone with her husband, Jonathan Owens of the Chicago Bears.
The couple marked their second wedding anniversary earlier this month after tying the knot in an extravagant wedding in Cabo, Mexico, on May 6, 2023.
It wasn’t until Friday, however, that Biles and Owens tried out their anniversary presents for each other. The decorated Olympian posted a video of themselves putting on jewelry, as Biles revealed her lavish anniversary gift for her husband.
“tyring on our 2 year anniversary gifts,” Biles captioned her post.
In the video, Biles is seen putting on two bracelets on Owens. The first one appears to be a delicate white gold bracelet with a small charm. The second one is a little bolder as the white gold/platinum/silver bracelet is adorned with noticeable charms that resemble a key or a pendant with a gem.
Biles also put one on as the video ended, and it appears that it was a matching bracelet with the second charm-adorned one she placed on Owens’ right wrist.
It’s hard to tell where Biles purchased the jewelry from, but they certainly look like high-end designer pieces that may have been customized as well.
During the Paris Olympics last year, Biles made waves by flexing an iced-out goat pendant after bagging another gold medal in the individual all-around final. The flashy piece of jewelry featured 546 hand-drilled diamonds on the white gold pendant, and while the actual value of the piece was not revealed, it is abundantly clear that it burned quite a hole in Biles’ deep pockets.
Biles does love her jewelry, and she made sure to gift her husband with a new set of bling on their special celebration.
