Simone Biles Throws It Back to the Olympics with a Special Bikini While Traveling in China

Biles posted a photo of herself posing in the bikini after jetting off to China on Tuesday, May 27

Simone Biles is having a nostalgic moment!

On Tuesday, May 27, the Olympic athlete, 28, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories featuring her rocking a sporty red Olympics bikini while visiting China for a special sports-themed event.

Biles snapped the pic while posing in front of a bathroom mirror. The gold medalist wore a red and white-trimmed bikini top with the Olympic rings logo branded across the front. The swimsuit appeared to be from the SKIMS x Team U.S.A. collection, designed for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Biles traveled to Hong Kong to give a speech at UBS’s 28th Asian Investment Conference, where she addressed 600 promising athletes from community sports organizations and gymnastics clubs in the city, per Sportskeeda. She also spoke with attendees about her sporting journey, per the outlet.

The gymnastics champion posted several photos on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday after arriving in China for the special event, including a snapshot of her posing in her Olympics bikini by the pool at her hotel and signing plaques.

Biles then showed off a second outfit, while sticking with the sporty theme. In her second snap, she wore a red jacket and matching track pants paired with a white tank top by Athleta and white sneakers.

“Time to go speak to the kids,” Biles wrote over the image. She later shared footage of herself taking in the sights of Hong Kong as she rode around the city at night while “on the hunt for Ramen.”

Prior to taking her 14-hour journey to China, Biles was seen making another fashion statement while stepping out at the 2025 Met Gala in New York City on May 5. She attended the event with her husband Jonathan Owens, where they two walked the carpet in coordinated looks in honor of the evening’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Biles wore a bright blue custom bustled minidress from designer Harbison Studio called the Seraphim dress, adorned with glittering black ornamentation in a satin finish. She completed her look with platform heels in matching blue and a custom version of the brand’s Galaxy Cathedral Train in the same color.
