Angel Reese has had her say about the awkward reaction of Travis Hunter’s fiancee to the Colorado star’s Heisman Trophy win that went viral on social media.

Angel Reese weighed in after a video surfaced on social media that showed Travis Hunter’s fiancee, Leanna Lenee, in an unfavorable light. The Buffaloes’ two-way star outshone Ashton Jeanty, Dillon Gabriel, and Cam Ward to clinch college football’s most prestigious award.

Understandably, Hunter and his entourage were overwhelmed with emotion. The star was seen shedding tears as he ascended the stage to accept his trophy. Alongside Hunter, Deion and Shedeur Sanders —the 21-year-old’s coach and quarterback, respectively—also reveled in the joy of seeing the young star claim the trophy.

But fans were drawn to Lenee’s reaction following Hunter’s victory. As the Sanderses and Hunter’s family rose to celebrate, the aforementioned video captured Lenee remaining seated, smiling and applauding as Hunter received accolades from his peers.

Observing Lenee seated while Hunter was being celebrated, Deion seemingly prompted Lenee to rise. After embracing her man, she then quickly resumed her seat as Hunter continued to hug those closest to him, including Deion and Shedeur.

Social media users voiced their opinions, but Reese was swift to offer her perspective on the situation, reminding fans that they are not privy to the dynamics of Hunter and Lenee’s relationship.

“Leave that girl alone and let them be happy damn!” Reese declared on her social media account, sparking fan debates over Hunter’s romance with Lenee. “You know she wrong for not standing up,” one fan expressed their concern, while another remarked, “But that’s you boy I understand.”

The conversation didn’t stop there; another individual suggested they were just concerned for Hunter’s best interest. “I normally would agree Sister, but my Unc senses say that love is not genuine,” one wrote in response to Reese’s post. Many argued over the validity of Hunter’s relationship with comments like, “We’re worried for Nephew. Just like we’d be worried for you if you popped out with a questionable spouse. It’s no malice from most folks we just don’t want him to get taken.”

Other fans disapproved of the unwarranted attention. One wrote: “Can’t believe so many ‘adults’ are caught up, and invested in, a relationship they know NOTHING about.”

Reese didn’t limit her social media activity to addressing Hunter and Lenee’s relationship — she also shared an emotional reaction to Hunter’s recent accolade: “Why am I crying? I’m so happy for Travis man!”

In his poignant acceptance speech, Hunter gave a nod to Deion and Shedeur for shaping his career, expressing his gratitude with heartfelt words: “I want to thank Coach Prime, Shedeur.” His voice laden with emotion, he continued, “Man, y’all changed my life forever. That one simple phone call, Shedeur, and look where I’m at. Man, that’s crazy bro. It’s crazy. I’m trying not to get emotional because I know our last game coming up soon.

“But I’m thankful for both of y’all. Coach Prime, I’m going to whoop you on that lake tomorrow or whenever we get the chance. But thank you, man. You changed my life forever. I told you that multiple times. I really appreciate all of it.”

Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark will open their season in a blockbuster.

The pair will renew their rivalry to start the WNBA season and it is no surprise their matchup is drawing huge interest with ticket prices reaching eye-watering levels.

The WNBA 2024 offseason is in full-swing with the season not scheduled to start until May 2025 and all eyes on the 3×3 ‘Unrivaled league set to take center stage in Miami.

However the league continues to make headlines, thanks in the main to Reese and Clark, with huge anticipation for the recent schedule release day.

On day 2 of the WNBA season, the Clark’s Fever will face Reese’s Sky in Indianapolis, the scene for record-setting levels on attendance in 2024 as Clark’s rookie season took over the competition.

Despite the game not being until May 17, prices have sky-rocketed to levels that surpass the season openers of most NBA teams in 2024.

At the time of writing, the get-in price starts at $238 with prices reaching up $2,500 according to TickPick.

Only the Boston Celtics had a higher season-opener get-in price in the NBA with Clark and Reese’s showdown more expensive than the other 29 teams.

Social media was quick to react to the prices and were in awe.

“$1000 for a family of 4 to go to a WNBA game…,” one fan wrote.

“Wow, that’s a steep price for Opening Night!” another said. “The Fever vs. Sky will definitely be a big game, but $271 is surprising compared to most NBA home openers.”

One fan compared the level of anticipation for their rivalry to an historic NBA battle, “Their version of Bird vs Magic And Jordan is on the way soon lol,” the fan wrote.

It is not the first time that Clark and Reese have made headlines with the cost of their games as back in August the median prices of their for their game was $845 according to Stubhub.

Last season Clark and Reese faced off four times as rookies with the Fever and Clark coming out on top three times.

Clark also beat Reese in the race for Rookie of the Year in a contest that was decided once Reese’s season was ended with a wrist injury.

One of the matchups between the pair was a 17,000 sell-out last year at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the arena that will host the Fever’s season opener in 2025.

The new season will also see two new head coaches lead out the teams with Stephanie White taking charge of Clark’s side and Tyler Marsh leading Reese’s team.

Marsh is relishing the prospect of leading Reese.

“We can’t take for granted just what Angel was able to do in her rookie year,” he said in an interview on the ‘No Cap Space WBB’ podcast.

“And, she’s a winner. She’s doubted almost every year of her life and her career, and she continued to overcome, and that’s something you can build on.”

Reese had the upper hand with a college national championship, Clark took Rookie of the Year honors and a spot in the playoffs in their first season in the pro ranks.

All eyes will be on the next instalment, but it will cost.

Angel Reese isn’t holding back to close 2024 off with her fit game. Her latest is easily one of her best of the year.

The Chicago Sky All-Star has had many fashion hits since the offseason hit like her Wild ‘n Out in Chicago in bootylicious shorts, and her insane Poison Ivy painted green Halloween costume, and a naughty secretary look to announce her new shoe.

Recently, Reese attended the 2024 Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City where she wore a stunning fit while going fangirl with Rihanna, and posing for an epic photo with Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas.

Right before Christmas, Reese dropped her latest holiday fit that will definitely land her on Santa’s naughty list in her see-through leopard-print look and the blonde streaks to match.

Wow, now that’s an All-Star-worthy look right there.

Reese finished her WNBA rookie season averaging a double-double averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 points per game. She has a month off before playing in the new Unrivaled 3×3 league in January in Miami.

The 22-year-old already looks to be in Miami Barbie mode with this latest look — a clear winner for her in 2024.

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese drew a lot of attention as she attended an NBA game on Tuesday.

Reese was spotted in the celebrity row of Madison Square Garden as the New York Knicks played the Orlando Magic. Sure enough, the 22-year-old hooper turned a lot of heads with her presence, thanks to her status as one of the fastest risings stars in the WNBA.

More than that, though, Reese also drew the admiration of fans for her stunning outfit in the game. The Sky forward rocked a white button-down shirt dress, which she paired with a black fur bubble coat and sheer black tights.

Even the Knicks took notice of her courtside appearance and sent a message to her. Unsurprisingly, New York’s post sparked a flurry of comments about Angel Reese, with many sharing their thoughts on her outfit and overall look.

“She’s so pretty,” a commenter said on the Knicks’ post on X.

Another one shared, “Looking lovely.”

“Angel and the red [lips]. Love it!” a supporter added.

A fan shared, ‘Gorgeous Barbie.”

“The hair, the glasses, the purse, the red lip, the LEWK,” an impressed supporter further stated.

Angel Reese continues to make waves amid the WNBA offseason. It’s not the first time that she attended an NBA game, as she has done so multiple times in recent weeks. She has also been active in various social and fashion events, even attending the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show back in October.

While Reese continues to work on her game, she’s also making sure to get some downtime and build her brand off the court.

WNBA superstar Angel Reese pulled up to Madison Square Garden to watch the Knicks host the Magic and shined in a luxury look from head to toe.

Chicago Sky superstar Angel Reese continues to be one of the biggest and most visible young rising stars in the WNBA. The basketball star, fashionista, and endorsement’s dream is always doing things the right way.

Since ending her first year in the W, Reese has been making appearances all around the sports and fashion world.

After a brief NFL tour that included stops to watch the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium, her hometown Baltimore Ravens in Maryland, and a return to Chicago to take in some Bears action, Reese turned heads at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

This week, Reese kicked off December on a high note by sitting courtside at the World’s Most Famous Arena to watch the New York Knicks host the Orlando Magic.

Naturally, Angel’s Madison Square Garden fit was made for New York City with its luxury flair.

Angel pulled up to MSG in a long white Prada shirt, black tights, and a red Chanel bag.

The streak of home teams winning with Angel in attendance extended on Tuesday with the Knicks cruising to a 121-106 victory, led by Karl-Anthony Towns’ 23 points and 15 rebounds.

If there is anyone who knows a thing or two about double-doubles and an appreiate the effort, it’s Angel Reese.

Despite her season being cut short, Reese led the WNBA in rebounds per game (13.1), was named a WNBA All-Star, set a WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles (15), and became the fastest player in league history to reach 20 double-doubles in their career.

“Caitlin Clark Owning Angel Reese Again”: Fans Celebrate WNBA ROTY’s Edge Over Her Rival Amid Big Opening Game News

Basketball thrives on rivalries, from Bird vs. Magic to today’s most electrifying matchup: Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese. With the WNBA’s 2025 schedule officially released, fans are buzzing with anticipation for the Indiana Fever’s season opener against the Chicago Sky, where these two stars will face off once again. The Fever-Sky game has become the hottest ticket in women’s basketball, with a get-in price of $271—higher than 29 out of 30 NBA home openers this season.

One fan summed up the excitement with a tweet: “Caitlin Clark owning Angel Reese again.” Another chimed in, “Caitlin gonna cook her a– again,” while a third declared, “The Clark effect.” The buzz surrounding their matchup isn’t just about personal rivalries—it’s a testament to the growing draw of the WNBA.

Over the weekend, DDG shared a video on Instagram featuring Angel Reese, where he raps along to his newly released song, “WHAT U BAD FOR.” In the clip, DDG stands next to Reese, and fans couldn’t help but notice the height difference between them. DDG himself commented on the situation, joking, “she had heels on, we the same height I swear,” acknowledging the playful exchange about their stature.

Despite the focus on their height, DDG and Reese were actually promoting the track, which also features Real Boston Richey. The song touches on DDG’s recent breakup with Halle Bailey, where he reflects on his son, Halo, and his connection to Bailey. “Thing about Halo mommy, you know that’s my baby forever,” DDG raps, speaking to his love for his child and his ex. However, some listeners felt that a stronger beat could have made the song’s emotional message hit harder.

The breakup between DDG and Halle Bailey has sparked ongoing curiosity, especially after the couple welcomed their son Halo not long ago. While DDG has admitted that he still hasn’t fully moved on, Halle Bailey has remained more reserved, only publicly addressing issues like DDG taking Halo to a Kai Cenat stream without informing her. Despite the drama, both stars have defended each other amid online criticism, always trying to support one another in their personal lives.

The playful height joke might seem trivial, but it seems to have sparked enough attention to bring more focus to DDG’s relationship with Halle, which remains a key emotional thread in his music. Whether this tactic was intentional or not, it’s a reminder of how even lighthearted moments can lead to deeper discussions about a celebrity’s personal life. We’ll see what other antics emerge next in this ongoing saga.

Angel Reese Posts One-Word Reaction to Hailey Van Lith’s Career Game

NCAA women’s basketball star Hailey Van Lith recently led the TCU Horned Frogs to a 76-73 win over NC State, earning an upset victory over the No. 13 Wolfpack.

Van Lith posted her first career 10-assist double-double, finishing the game with 18 points and 10 assists while shooting 8-of-24 from the field.

She took to social media to share a few photos from the game.

“chop wood carry water,” Van Lith captioned the post.

Van Lith’s former teammate with the LSU Tigers, Angel Reese, who currently plays for the Chicago Sky in the WNBA, commented on the post.

Reese agreed with Van Lith’s statement, posting her thoughts on the post in the comment section.

“EXACTLY,” Reese said,

Reese and Van Lith shared the court together with the LSU Tigers during the 2023-24 season. The two led the Tigers to a 31-6 record which ultimately had them listed as the No. 3 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Following her sole season at LSU (2023-24), Van Lith transferred to TCU, where she’s playing her fifth season of college basketball.

Van Lith started her college career in 2020. She played three seasons with the Louisville Cardinals, transferred to LSU for one season and is now leading the Horned Frogs.

TCU stands at 4-0 on the season under Van Lith’s lead, with wins against the Houston Christian Huskies, New Orleans Privateers, Texas State Bobcats and NC State Wolfpack.

Angel Reese is switching it up with her looks, and her latest doesn’t disappoint.

Today, the Chicago Sky forward took to her Instagram Story to show off her new hairstyle. She posed in the mirror with her hair done in long braids, while wearing a black and pink Barbie sports bra and black shorts.

Also in the photo, Reese showed off her abs, complete with a flashy belly button ring.

The WNBA superstar has been known to show out with her fits, even her most cozy and relaxed ones. But it never hurts to take advice from elders in the fashion game.

Yesterday, Reese dropped an episode of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, which featured celebrity stylist Law Roach.

Roach has styled some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Zendaya, Celine Dion, Ariana Grande, and more. During the chat, Roach expressed happiness over the fact that the fashion industry is paying attention to WNBA tunnel fits.

“I like the tunnel fits,” Roach said. “I love the way the fashion industry and designers respecting that now. Because they didn’t used to pay attention to athletes, and now, they’re paying attention to athletes.”

Roach also said that Reese’s dream to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show isn’t too far off. And with her confidence and inventive fashions, we must say we’re in agreement!

Angel Reese Drops 3 Powerful Words After Inspiring 5-Star Talent Architect Major Upset

“When they sleep on you, tuck them in!” Angel Reese had written in her caption while posting on ‘HAPPY REEBOK X ANGEL DAY!!’ three months ago. While many would have thought that the post was done and dusted, there were a million fans who took inspiration from it. And one of them is an NCAA star who as the season started has converted that inspiration into action and upset a team.

After Harvard’s upset over No. 25 Indiana, Harmoni Turner shared that she took a major dose of inspiration from the Chi-Town Barbie which helped her decimate the other team. “Keep sleeping… taking the quote from @Reese10Angel “ when they sleeping on you, tuck em in” great team win! proud of us,’” she stated, and now Reese has reacted to the same. After the quote was tweeted by Harmoni on Friday, Reese reshared the tweet with her three-word message “heard you sis!”

The Harvard Crimson clashed with the Indiana Hoosiers on Thursday in what was their second game of the regular season, defeating them by a 72-68 margin. At one point in time, the Hoosiers led the game with a 60-57 margin which was the largest lead for Indiana. However, Turner played a crucial role as she hit a free throw and then made a jumper that leveled the score. If that wasn’t enough, she assisted Alayna Rocco who got the score to 63-all, and the game went into overtime.

Even during the OT, Turner made a pair of layups before assisting Mona Zaric make a jumper. All this culminated in the Crimson upending the No. 25 ranked Indiana. Notably, Turner had the game’s highest 24 points with 4 assists, 4 rebounds, and 6 steals, assuming the leadership role for her team. She also made 10 out of 17 field goals, thus rescuing the Crimson during crucial moments, and surely Reese was to be thanked for her motivational ideas.

The five-star guard had committed to Harvard in 2019 and from 2021 has been plying her trade with utmost sincerity. It is only a matter of time before she makes a name for herself just like Reese. Meanwhile, Turner isn’t the only star that the Chi-Town Barbie has impacted.

Angel Reese inspires Louisiana girls’ basketball players and more

Angel Reese

When Angel Reese & the Lady Tigers. decimated their opponents one after another, finally clinching the Championship title during the 2022-23 season, it sent waves across Louisiana. Inspired by the exceptional success of LSU, Central High School girls’ basketball coach Krystal Huggins-Flowers credited the Chicago star for having a brilliant season. “You know, pay attention to Angel Reese. Do you see her passion? Do you see her fight?,” Huggins-Flowers remarked on being asked one message she would like to give her mentees. However, that was just the beginning.

Even Central High School senior Ty’Reona Sibley revealed that she was planning for Southeastern Louisiana next year and had an amazing learning experience watching the Lady Tigers. “Just seeing them play the game, work hard, and all they were doing, it helped me to keep going and keep pushing,” Sibley enunciated.

This is not it. The Sky No. 5 understands her reach and has always been forthcoming in ensuring that the young girls know they can look up to her. Back in July, an adorable fan came to Reese and asked what motivated her. The seventh-overall pick did not take a second to respond, “Girls like you. Little girls that look up to me. Being able to wake up every day and know that little eyes are watching me. I hope one day that you can do what I’m doing.”

After inspiring a junior NCAA star, Reese has once again proven that she continues to break barriers in women’s sports. Hopefully, someday all those who emulated her will be playing next to her in the WNBA.
