U.S. Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, who has 1.9 million Twitter/X followers, has seemingly deleted her profile following the intense transgender feud against OutKick’s Riley Gaines, host of “Gaines for Girls.”

Twitter/X users started sharing screenshots Sunday of Biles’ account leading to an error message, and this is how word got around that she may have nuked the account entirely.

The beef sparked up after Biles came at Gaines for wanting to keep transgender (biological male) athletes out of female sports.

“@Riley_Gaines_ You’re truly sick, all of this campaigning because you lost a race. Straight up sore loser,” posted Biles earlier in June. (RELATED: ESPN’s Clownshow Continues As Rebecca Lobo Ridiculously Apologizes For Saying ‘Makes America Great’)

“You should be uplifting the trans community and perhaps finding a way to make sports inclusive OR creating a new avenue where trans feel safe in sports. Maybe a transgender category IN ALL sports!! But instead… You bully them… One thing’s for sure is no one in sports is safe with you around!!!!!” Biles said.

This led to even more personal attacks from Biles, including comparing Gaines to a man. But we all know the story: Biles ended up backtracking on her transgender support and issuing an apology to Gaines, giving the conservative activist the victory in their beef.

But it appears that none of Biles’ public relations moves have worked, and that has resulted in her now deleting her Twitter account.

Riley Gaines issued the following response on the matter:

Talk about getting thrashed … like damn, how do you lose a beef this bad?

Following an online spat between gymnastics legend Simone Biles and former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines sparked heated debate, the controversy appears to be evolving far beyond social media.

Gaines has returned to the conversation, now tying her earlier dispute with Biles to a developing legal battle in Oregon involving two high school girls who are challenging transgender participation in girls’ sports.

At the heart of this latest twist is a lawsuit filed by Oregon track athletes Maddie Eischen and Sophia Carpenter. The students, both female runners, say they were forced to compete against a transgender athlete at the Chehalem Classic track meet in April, an experience that led them to walk off the field in protest.

Now, they’ve taken their concerns to court, challenging Oregon’s inclusive athletics policy that allows athletes to compete based on their gender identity.

But according to Gaines, who has positioned herself as a vocal advocate for women’s sports, the girls’ decision to sue was not made in a vacuum. Instead, she claims the lawsuit was influenced by the backlash to Biles‘ recent comments aimed at her.

Simone Biles‘ disparaging comments towards female athletes totally backfired,” Gaines wrote on X. “She inadvertently inspired two high school girls in Oregon to sue the state after being forced to compete against a boy at their state championship meet. Poetic.”

Viral feud spills into real-world legal fight

The online drama originally began when Gaines weighed in on a game involving a Minnesota girls’ softball team, which featured a transgender pitcher. Her remarks sparked backlash, including a blunt retort from Biles: “bully someone your own size.” The response quickly gained traction on social media, drawing attention from athletes, pundits, and advocacy groups on both sides of the debate.

According to Eischen and Carpenter, that clash between two high-profile figures opened their eyes to the national implications of their experience. Gaines had reportedly contacted them soon after the April meet, but the media frenzy around her back-and-forth with Biles served as a tipping point. The girls stated that it clarified the broader stakes and emboldened them to take legal action.

The Oregon lawsuit challenges current regulations that allow transgender girls to compete alongside cisgender girls in high school athletics.

The plaintiffs argue this framework undermines the fairness and integrity of female competition and violates their rights under federal law, particularly Title IX, which prohibits sex-based discrimination in federally funded education programs.

The lawsuit could emerge as a pivotal test case in the larger national debate, joining similar legal efforts around the country aimed at limiting transgender participation in women’s and girls’ sports.

Critics of such efforts argue they stigmatize and marginalize transgender youth, while proponents, like Gaines, insist they’re about protecting the rights and opportunities of cisgender girls.

Has Simone Biles Retired? ‘Boob Job’ Rumours Spark Speculation She’s Done With Gymnastics

Recent bikini photos of Simone Biles have triggered a wave of online speculation, ranging from claims of cosmetic surgery to rumours that the seven-time Olympic medallist is preparing to retire. But how much of this is grounded in fact?

This article unpacks the speculation, clarifies what’s confirmed, and explores why the public is so invested in Biles’s every move.

Holiday Photos Fuel Breast Implant Speculation

While vacationing in Belize with husband Jonathan Owens, Biles shared bikini snaps wearing a £395 Fendi set. The images, posted on 7 July 2025, quickly attracted attention for more than just the fashion.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, fans and cosmetic surgery forums speculated that Biles may have undergone breast augmentation. Surgeons estimated implant sizes between 350cc and 420cc, citing only visual clues.

Yet, there has been no official comment from Biles or her representatives. Without her voice, the claims remain unverified.

Why Some Fans Think She’s Retiring

The cosmetic rumours quickly expanded into talk of retirement from gymnastics. Some users online speculated that a shift in appearance might signal a career transition or exit.

However, Biles has not confirmed such plans. In fact:

  • She recently shared a Pilates session on Instagram (Instagram) joking about how tough it was.
  • She told NBC she was open to returning for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, saying: ‘Never say never’.

With no official announcement, the retirement chatter appears to be based entirely on assumption, not action.

Simone Biles’s History with Cosmetic Treatments

Biles has spoken publicly about her approach to cosmetic procedures. In 2024, she admitted trying ‘baby Botox’ once, but quickly reversed course.

‘One eyebrow started twitching. I didn’t like it, so I stopped,’ she shared at the time.

This honesty suggests she would likely be transparent about undergoing surgery, making her silence on breast implants all the more telling. If a procedure had occurred, she might well have said so.

Public Interest Highlights Double Standards in Sport

This isn’t just about Simone Biles. The media frenzy reveals a broader issue: female athletes are frequently judged on looks rather than achievements.

Reports from outlets like Page Six note that stars such as Kylie Jenner and Kristin Cavallari have normalised public conversations about cosmetic enhancements. Biles, by contrast, has focused on performance, recovery, and personal growth.

Her holiday photos garnered over 1.2 million likes, but also thousands of speculative comments. The contrast between admiration and objectification shows the fine line public women still walk.

Confidence and Authenticity Still Define Her Public Image

Biles has never hidden her struggle with pressure, mental health, or expectations. She famously withdrew from events at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics to prioritise wellbeing, earning praise worldwide.

In beauty-related interviews, including with Harper’s Bazaar, she has promoted a fresh-faced, natural style:

‘I feel most beautiful when I’m confident and not trying to be someone else’.

That perspective aligns with the way she’s handled the current rumours: quietly and confidently.

The Truth Behind the Headlines

Let’s separate fact from speculation:

  • Biles has not confirmed any cosmetic surgery.
  • She has not retired from gymnastics.
  • Speculation is driven by public reaction, not by reliable sources.

Until Simone Biles shares her own story, the most respectful approach is to focus on what she represents: excellence, resilience, and authenticity.

Simone Biles is keeping things hot in Central America – in her bikini. In a new social media post, the Olympian flaunts her fantastic figure in a Fendi swimsuit while vacationing in the tropics. “Gone to belize 🤍,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does the athlete keep herself in shape? Here are her top diet and fitness tips.

Simone is an advocate for mental health. “I’ve always been in therapy [and] I’ve always been an advocate for medicine,” Biles told Vanity Fair. “If you need an inhaler, take it. If you have anxiety, take it. I’m no stranger to medicine.” Years ago, Biles was prescribed Lexapro for anxiety, and she continues to take the medication today. In her book, Leap Year, author Jill Steele, a former gymnast, highlights some unique mental health struggles that young athletes face.

Simone recommends eating lean protein and lots of fiber. For breakfast, she has Kellogg’s Red Berries or egg whites. For lunch, she has “either chicken or fish so I get the protein,” she told Women’s Health. Then, a “quick snack” before another workout. “Pre-workout I love drinking Core Power; it’s a recovery drink. And then a banana and peanut butter because bananas have potassium, which helps with muscle cramps.” For dinner, “I like having a good fish, like salmon, and rice and carrots,” she says.

Cross-training is also part of her routine. “We swam twice a week—almost a mile! I swore I was going to drown, it was so hard, and then we would run. And the year before that we would bike 10 miles outside once a week. If we didn’t bike, we would run a mile before practice, and as soon as we finished the mile we’d have to go inside and do a beam routine. My legs were absolute jello. But it got easier because the cross-training helped. This year we haven’t done [cross-training] because we’re just calming it down,” she told Women’s Health about her gymnastics prep work.

Simone lifts weights and does strength training workouts. “I like doing legs because those exercises come pretty easily to me. I have good, powerful legs, so I can do conditioning and they won’t be too sore. But stomach conditioning, I don’t like it at all! It’s my least favorite. I like laughing better for an ab workout than actually doing abs!” she told Women’s Health. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Simone makes sure to stretch. “We have a routine that includes running and then a stretch for every part of our body. So we’ll stretch before practice, but especially afterwards, because then you’re tense and you need to stretch those muscles down. It’s very important to keep your body flexible so that you don’t get injured,” she told Women’s Health. “My favorite stretch is splits because not a lot of people can do them. And over-splits is when you put your leg up on a mat so it’s higher—and it just looks cooler!” Even if you aren’t an Olympian, you should consider adding stretching to your routine, as it keeps the muscles “flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints,” says Harvard Health. “Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.”

Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles are in sync: the couple surprises fans with matching braided hairstyles

Simone Biles exudes a one-of-a-kind charisma, a commanding presence, and unquestionable talent. Whether on or off the competition floor, she knows how to create memorable moments-and how to win, no matter the arena.

Just a year ago, she was once again reigning on the Olympic stage, this time at the 2024 Paris Games. Although Brazilian star Rebeca Andrade gave her stiff competition, Biles rose to the occasion, meeting the challenge posed by her peers and rivals alike.

Simone Biles in Paris 2024

All eyes were on Simone Biles when she stepped onto the mat in Paris. Each vault, each routine, every leap drew thunderous applause from the audience. It wasn’t all perfection-but the sheer level of her performance proved why she remains a world-class competitor.

The gymnastics arena provided no shortage of epic moments, as athletes delivered breathtaking feats of athleticism that felt once-in-a-lifetime.

Biles emerged from the competition with four Olympic medals-three gold and one silver. She claimed gold in the team event, the all-around, and vault, while earning silver on floor exercise.

Though some may argue that she now shares her crown with Brazil’s Andrade, Simone Biles’ legacy is forever etched in the annals of Olympic history.

Recovery and mental health journey

Following the emotional and psychological challenges she faced in Tokyo, Biles dedicated herself to rebuilding her mental health. Her personal journey is chronicled in a documentary that dives into the intense struggle she experienced just a few years ago.

She knew when it was time to step away, take the breath she so badly needed, and allow her love for gymnastics to reignite. That decision proved crucial in her resurgence-not only did she reclaim her strength, but she also rediscovered her joy and confidence in the sport.

Once back on solid ground, she returned to training with her sights set on Paris-and her triumphant return only reinforced what a once-in-a-generation athlete she truly is.

A loving partnership with Jonathan Owens

Simone Biles and her husband

NFL player Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles were married on April 22, 2023, and since then, they’ve embodied a couple whose love, affection, and mutual support are always evident.

Owens was by her side during the Paris 2024 Olympics, taking special leave from his current team, the Chicago Bears, so he wouldn’t miss any of her performances-despite it overlapping with team preparations for the 2024 season.

Recently, the couple shared a lighthearted video on Instagram, showing off matching braided hairstyles. The post delighted fans, underscoring the couple’s deep connection and shared sense of fun. These kinds of moments have become hallmarks of their relationship.

With NFL mini-camps currently in session and the full season grind yet to begin, the couple is taking full advantage of their time together-creating memories and celebrating the bond that continues to strengthen with each passing day.

Simone Biles Issues Apology To Riley Gaines After Personal Attack, Backtracks On Transgender Support

U.S. Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles has apologized to OutKick’s Riley Gaines after comparing her body to a man in a personal attack that stemmed from an intense disagreement on transgender (biological male) athletes.

After Gaines threw criticism at a situation going on in Minnesota involving a softball team led by a transgender athlete that won the state championship, Biles hopped on social media herself to blast Gaines as “truly sick” and demanded her to “bully someone your own size, which would ironically be male.”

Fast forward a few days later, and Biles is now apologizing to Gaines for her attack. And not just, but she’s also backtracking from her support of transgenders in female sports.

“I wanted to follow up from my last tweets. I’ve always believed competitive equity and inclusivity are both essential in sport,” tweeted Biles. “The current system doesn’t adequately balance these important principles, which often leads to frustration and heated exchanges, and it didn’t help for me to get personal with Riley, which I apologize for.”

And then things get even more interesting (emphasis mine) …

‘These are sensitive, complicated issues that I truly don’t have the answers or solutions to, but I believe it starts with empathy and respect,” stated Biles. “I was not advocating for policies that compromise fairness in women’s sports. My objection is to be singling out children for public scrutiny in ways that feel personal and harmful.”

Oh yeah … she’s backtracking, folks. You can read her statement in its entirety here:

Suni Lee Had Funny Two-Word Response to Knicks Fan Who Shouted ‘OG’ at Her

Lee brought the best energy to Fanatics Fest over the weekend.

When U.S. gymnast Suni Lee took the stage at Fanatics Fest in New York City over the weekend, New York Knicks’ OG Anunoby was there cheering her on—in spirit, anyway.

Lee was joined by New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson, Giants wideout Malik Nabers, sportscaster Noah Eagle and a few others on a panel during NYC’s annual Fanatics Fest, and one of the natural topics of conversation was Lee’s now-well-known fandom for the Knicks.

Lee started to discuss how she got “sucked into” cheering for the Knicks this year when a fan in the audience hilariously shouted,” OG!”

There was a slight pause as Lee and the crowd laughed at the fan’s endearing tease.

“Outta pocket,” Lee said.

As is already cemented in recent Knicks lore, Lee had an unexplained effect on Anunoby when she attended her first-ever Knicks game at Madison Square Garden last April. Lee was seen sitting courtside as Anunoby put up 32 points to help lift the Knicks to a 112-98 win over the Phoenix Suns.

From there on out, fans created endless memes and video content linking Lee and Anunoby, suggesting that the two-time Olympic gold medalist was Anunoby’s lucky charm at home games.

The Knicks’ luck eventually ran out in the NBA playoffs when they fell to the Indiana Pacers in a six-game series in the Eastern Conference Finals, but no one would soon forget Lee and Anunoby’s charming on-court magnetism.

United States Olympic gymnast and one of the most renowned Olympic athletes in the international games, Simone Biles, recently took to social media to gush about one of her recent feats.

Biles was among several other women sports stars to be nominated for a prestigious award presented by the ESPYs.

On Thursday, Biles reacted to her nomination for two ESPY awards, the “Best Athlete in Women’s Sports” and the “Best Championship Performance.”

After being nominated for the “Best Championship Performance,” Biles shared a note on the subject.

“And the only woman nominated for this award,” Biles said. “Representing for all the gallsssss okaaayyyyy GRATEFUL & BLESSED. Kisses pookies.”

Biles also shared a few teary-eyed emojis when reacting to the news.

Simone Biles has been nominated for the “Best Athlete in Women’s Sports” alongside several other stars, such as A’ja Wilson, Gabby Thomas and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.

She is also in a prestigious setting on the “Best Championship Performance list with Freddie Freeman, Rory McIlroy and Stephen Curry.

Simone Biles previously competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she earned three gold medals and one silver medal, adding to her incredible resume.

The 28-year-old gymnast’s gold medals came from her all-round performance, vault routine and team performance. She earned silver medal honors in the floor exercise.

Biles will now await the official announcements of the ESPYs awards on July 16 at 8 p.m. ET.

She has four previous ESPY wins: 2024 Comeback Athlete, 2021 Championship Performance, Best Female Athlete and Best U.S. Female Olympian.

Simone Biles has been a phenomenon in the sports world for years, recently leading Team USA to a gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Biles added to her incredible Olympics resume when she won a gold medal in the all-around and vault exercises. She also earned a silver medal for the floor exercise and helped lead the United States to a team gold medal.

Amid her success, especially on the international stage, Biles received another honor. The Olympic gymnast was recently named the Kids’ Choice Awards Favorite Female Sports Star.

Three weeks after sparking a war of words with anti-trans activist Riley Gaines, apologizing for her targeted remarks, and being inundated with comments about the incident since, seven-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles has deleted her account on X, formerly Twitter.

Biles de-activated her account, which had nearly two million followers, after she came to the defense of a transgender high school athlete that Gaines had been attacking.

But after Biles personally insulted Gaines, it opened up a flood gate of attacks which appears to have led the 28-year-old gymnast – considered the greatest of all time – to remove her account on the platform.

Biles still has her accounts on Threads (with 2.1m followers) and Instagram (12.4m followers) active.

Gaines decided to deliver a parting shot to the gymnast, claiming that Biles ‘-has an incredibly unpopular and morally indefensible take – gets rightfully ridiculed for it – issues a groveling public apology after unrelenting backlash – deletes account to pretend it never happened’.

Gaines, who made a career out of politically advocating against trans people in sports after finishing tied for fifth with a trans woman at a swim meet, concluded, ‘Sad to see such a phenom go down like this’.

Biles ignited a war of words with anti-trans activist Riley Gaines three weeks ago. Despite apologizing for her personal attack on Gaines, Biles’ social accounts are still rife with trolls.
