Simone Biles’ Sister-in-Law Showcases Baby Biles Donning WCC Leo While Penning Heartfelt Note for Soon-to-Be Big Sister

The Biles clan is expanding! Simone Biles’ sister-in-law Sammi is expecting her second baby, and naturally, the heaving emotions can hardly be kept hidden. But that doesn’t mean Baby Biles is running short on love or that her love for gymnastics is ignored. Instead, the 7x Olympic gold medalist’s niece is pursuing her passion with gusto, and her mom is fondly cheering her on.

The two-year-old has been one of the biggest fans of her beloved TT Simone Biles in the short time she has been here. And she’s picked up an inkling toward the sport as well. From sporting colorful leotards to mesmerizing the community with her neat skills, the little one has already become a steady member of the Simone Biles fan club. But while the family awaits the welcome of the new one among their fold, Sammi can’t help but feel grateful for the little bundle of joy that’s made her life brighter for the last couple of years.

In her Instagram post from December 13, Simone’s brother’s wife once again noted how Baby Biles has been a blessing. Sharing more pictures of the rising gymnast in a World Champions Centre leotard, Sammi left a special message for her daughter. “God really knew what He was doing when he gave me the precious gift of you,” the post reads as the accompanying images show Simone’s biggest cheerleader perfecting her skills at the gym.

Looking at her daughter carrying the stripes of the same place that forged Simone Biles, Sammi was understandably overwhelmed. “I mean come onnnn,” she wrote in her post’s caption, accompanied by an emoji to highlight her gushing feeling. Ronni, on the other hand, seemed impervious to the fact that her mom was dealing with raw emotions and looked super comfy in her leotard as she kept at the efforts to keep Simone Biles’ legacy alive within the family.

However, this isn’t the first time that Sammi’s firstborn has enthralled the gymnastics community with her wardrobe collection. Having Simone Biles as your aunt almost guarantees you’ll grow up as the apple of the eye of her fans, and little Ronni has managed to give back in kind with her antics. And every time she found a new way to voice her support for her favorite aunt, the fans fell in love with the toddler all over again.

Simone Biles unconsciously teaches her niece industry secrets

Ronni’s leotard collection has already become part of gymnastics lore. Along with that, her moves on gymnastics apparatus have also made many believe that gymnastics runs in the blood of the Biles. Just a few days ago, Sammi’s daughter was once again spotted getting her A-game on as she wobbled through the gym, trying her hands at various moves.

And Simone’s sister-in-law could barely hold it together, seeing her child following in the footsteps of the country’s most decorated gymnast of all time. “I spy our spicy baby girl,” the youngling’s mom posted on social media, reiterating how watching the former blossom into an athlete is making everyone in the family look at her with awe.

Ronni joined the other Biles family members to fly to the City of Love earlier this year to watch Simone reclaim her GOAT status. Bagging the AA gold on the Olympic stage once again, the Houston native proved her superiority. And Baby Biles’ relentless cheering helped, we’d assume. What’s more, she was seen twining with her aunt as Ronni wore a tiny Team USA leotard, making it clear that the gold medal for cuteness was already hers. While fans already want SPIETH to make Simone’s niece a custom soft beam, Sammi is currently bracing up for another tough journey ahead.

The Olympian’s sister-in-law had a tough relationship with pregnancy. Her body was reluctant to match her wishes to become a mother, and complications became a daunting issue. Naturally, when little Ronni arrived in the world via IVF, the whole family was elated and celebrated her with loud cheers. And now, another baby is on its way, and Sammi can barely keep the happy tears from coming.

This pregnancy has not been easy in the slightest mentally or physically,” she said, explaining how things have been far from a smooth ride while also noting that the struggle was only a way of finding the light for herself. The fans were quick to arrive with supporting words and stated how preparations to welcome Ronni’s sibling are underway. Are you also as excited? ‘I Signed Up’: Simone Biles Pinpoints the Moment That Led Her to Gymnastics GOAT Status

Simone Biles and gymnastics go together like peanut butter and jelly—can you even imagine the sport without her? With five eponymous skills in the Code of Points, 11 Olympic medals, and 30 World Championship medals, she’s redefined what it means to be the GOAT. And like all great love stories, this one started with a twist of fate. Yep, you could even call it love at first sight.

Simone Biles spilled the tea on The Kelly Clarkson Show about how she stumbled—quite literally—into gymnastics. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t a glamorous start. “We were supposed to go to the oil ranch that day,” Simone shared with a laugh. “Yeah, very Texan thing. And it ended up raining. So they’re like, where are we going to take these kids? There was a gym down the street, and that’s where they took us.”

What happened next? Little Simone started mimicking the gymnasts. “I started copying the girls in the back, and then they were like, have you ever done gymnastics? I think you need to sign up. And they sent a brochure home, and then I signed up.” Talk about a plot twist! One soggy field trip and a little curiosity turned into a lifelong love affair.

She began training at Bannon’s Gymnastix in Houston under Aimee Boorman, who quickly realized she was coaching something special. Aimee recalled, “She had said that her brother taught her how to do a backhandspring in their backyard, but she had never had any formal gymnastics training,” according to Olympics.com.

“In those early years, she would just watch people do skills and go and try them,” Aimee continued. “For example, she had seen a cheerleader doing a back tuck in her practice one day and she said, ‘I can do that,’ but she had never done one before. She stood up, and she did it just by watching.” Seriously, who is this girl? A prodigy, that’s who.

Simone Biles

By 15, Simone was so obsessed with gymnastics that she left regular school to be homeschooled, dedicating every free moment to training. She crushed it as a junior, earning a scholarship to UCLA. But instead of taking the college route, she went pro, kicking off one of the most jaw-dropping careers in sports history. This kicked off a career so iconic it’s been praised by literally everyone—fans, fellow athletes, and even multinational companies lining up to be part of her greatness.

Simone Biles gets a special surprise from Google

Simone Biles has faced her share of critics, but time and again, she’s shown why she’s the undisputed queen of gymnastics. Now, even Google is bowing down to her greatness with a tribute that screams “GOAT energy.” Known for its quirky Easter eggs for celebrities, Google has rolled out a delightful surprise for Simone, and it’s as golden as her medal collection.

Search her name, and amidst the long list of her jaw-dropping achievements, you’ll notice a tiny goat-shaped button. Give it a click, and your screen lights up with a shower of confetti, flower bouquets, and golden goats. It’s a playful nod to an athlete who’s redefined excellence—not just in gymnastics but in sports as a whole. And while the timing might seem random, maybe it’s not. Why now?

While Simone Biles hasn’t competed since her Olympic domination, 2024 has been a blockbuster year for her. She claimed three Olympic golds and a silver in Paris, headlined the Gold Over America Tour, snagged a Critics Choice Award for Simone Biles Rising Part 2, and even became the highest-paid gymnast of the year. Talk about a year of wins!

Google’s homage might not just be about her triumphant Olympic return but also about the way Simone keeps smashing milestones—on and off the mat. Fans are eating it up, and let’s be real, who wouldn’t want yet another excuse to call her the GOAT?

Even Simone Biles isn’t great at everything. While 7 Olympic gold medals seal the 27-year-old gymnast’s GOAT status, there are areas in which even she doesn’t like to tread over. With the festive season around the corner, you’d imagine Simone would want to do everything right to celebrate the time to its fullest. And yet, there’s one daunting task she would like to leave to NFL star husband Jonathan Owens.

The gifts are almost as important as Christmas: the thrill of ripping the wrappings to find the treasures inside and then glee about the new totems of happiness in your life. But it seems like Biles would rather cede the responsibilities of one particular task to her husband instead of doing it herself.

Simone Biles appeared for an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show on December 12 where she talked about how her holiday spirits are dampened by one particular thing. When the host asked the gymnastics icon if she enjoys wrapping or unwrapping gifts more, the latter unabashedly said she enjoys the wrapping part rather than the other option.

Unwrapping, I am a horrible wrapper,” said Biles with a shy grin on her face, as the crowd candidly accepted her reasoning with a loud applause nonetheless. Simone also revealed how she relies on Owens to help her with the chore to make sure everyone gets their presents neatly wrapped: “ I don’t care what it is. Everything goes in bags, I’ll make Jonathan wrap his own Christmas presents,” she uninhibitedly said.

While the audience was ready to give the world’s greatest gymnast a hall pass for her poor wrapping skills, Clarkson expressed her disdain at how her mind rebels when someone gives her a gift in a bag. “When someone hands me a bag…I am like, ‘So you threw this together?’,” the host joked, and Biles scurried to find her poise to revert back to the jibe by confessing once again that she’s genuinely bad at it. But just because she’s bad at it doesn’t mean Biles doesn’t like to spread Christmas joy, even if she doesn’t get to spend it with her beloved!

SIMONE BILES AND HUSBAND

Simone Biles’ life always has something special for Christmas

Last year, the country’s most decorated gymnast of all time joined hands with GK Elite and Speith to give her fans the opportunity to get themselves a GOAT-special gymnastic mat. The Olympian was over the moon about how her accolades were being hailed for their top-tier status and promised that her fans would get to own a part of the journey by taking Speith’s sale offer. But nothing can hardly compare with the heaving emotions that Simone feels to have her beau beside her during the holiday season.

The Houston native has spent a lot of time on the road in 2024. From the Olympic Team Trials to the 2024 Paris Games: her fixation on compensating for the Tokyo incident has kept Biles at the gym for a considerable time. Unsurprisingly, the dedication paid off in stellar style as Simone walked away from the City of Love with 4 Olympic medals (3 gold, and 1 silver), and completed her redemption arc in triumphant style. Reclaiming the top spot again, Biles has little time to rest. She hoped back on the bus to lead the country’s top gymnasts for the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour, cris-crossing the country for over two months. During all this time, both Biles and Owens wriggled out time to catch up and spend some time together.

The duo loves to be in each other’s embrace during this time. On their 3rd Christmas together, Biles noted her joy of being in close proximity to Jonathan on social media. But this year, it looks like their hectic schedule is again going to play spoilsport. Owens and the Chicago Bears will face the Seattle Seahawks on December 26, which means the football safety will have to keep himself submerged in training during Christmas as well. “Sure, it’s tough being apart, but we’ve been through this before,” Biles said about the situation. On the other hand, Simone has been chosen by DICK’S Sporting Goods to keep herself busy by decorating one of its stores.

Do you think a little time off from their busy calendar would help both Biles and Owens celebrate the holidays better? What do you think they should do to see each other more often? Tell us in a comment!

‘I Was Cheating’: Simone Biles Recalls True Feelings About Pilates Class She’ll Never Try Again

It takes a lot to be America’s most decorated gymnast— no wonder Simone Biles found herself in the gym 6 days a week ahead of the Paris Olympics. Indeed, to carry out the most dreaded stunts, like the Yurchenko Double Pike, or simply to perform optimally, she needs to keep her fitness levels in check. But what exactly does she do for it? Go hard on strength training or opt for a low-impact workout that helps her body recover too?

Well, for one, she just returned to the gym recently, after a much-needed three-month break. Only this time, she opted for Pilates, a form of exercise that uses controlled movements to enhance one’s balance, core strength, mobility, and flexibility. But turns out, Simone Biles wasn’t much of a fan. After publically confessing that she’d never return to the bands and benches again, here’s the ‘why’ part of it.

Pilates— too big a challenge for the 7x gold medalist, Simone Biles?

Appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Simone Biles made a big revelation regarding her training preferences. When Kelly shared a personal anecdote and claimed that Pilates in New York was different (in a weird way), the gymnast jumped in to agree that it wasn’t just a big city problem. “I think it’s everywhere because I cannot do it to save my life,” Biles said with a laugh.

Coming from a gymnast with 30 world medals, this admission may be a little surprising. However, when Kelly explained how hard Pilates was— leaving her legs trembling and the teacher hovering near her to tell her, ‘You can do it,’— Simone Biles chimed in. Biles revealed what she would usually do in such a fix, “I was shaking and when the teacher wasn’t looking, I was cheating.”

While most wouldn’t expect this honesty from a gymnast who finds nothing too tall a challenge on the mat, Biles had nothing to hide. She even gave a frozen expression to show how she would be caught in a tough spot when the teacher returned next to her. All of this together suggested that this anaerobic exercise that may look like a ‘feel-good’ thing, is just not her cup of tea. “It’s not for me,”  Biles agreed.

Simone Biles

In case you didn’t know, Simone Biles faced this difficulty back in 2020 too. While she spoke to Katie Ledecky and Joi Wade in an interview, Biles revealed her bitter experience from an elite-level Pilates class. She said, “I will not be doing that again,” for the exercise had left her body sore. But here we are in 2024, with the gymnast giving it a shot again.

Thus, we don’t truly know if this is the end of the Pilates road for her. But, guess we have an answer to the question — what is it that Simone Biles can’t do? And it’s just not Pilates. Turns out, there’s another thing that the gymnast is admittedly horrible at.

Biles finds this too difficult a task

The holiday season is here and everyone is getting those wrappings out to add that ‘exclusive’ factor to their presents. But when it’s this time of the year, Simone Biles finds herself struggling again. Why? Well, let’s say she’s terrible at adding a touch of beautification to the tokens that she hands out.

On the Kelly Clarkson Show, Biles was asked to pick and choose: “Wrapping or unwrapping gifts?” And that for her was a no-brainer. Simone Biles instantly replied, “Unwrapping, I am a horrible wrapper.” The gymnast further confessed that she let her husband, Jonathan Owens, handle this part of the duties.

Well, there’s another option too. If it was for her, Simone Biles would simplify the way things are done. “I don’t care what it is. Everything goes in bags, I’ll make Jonathan wrap his own Christmas presents,” Biles confessed. However, some, including Kelly would probably see this with a hint of disdain, “When someone hands me a bag…I am like, ‘So you threw this together?’,” the host said jokingly. Nonetheless, Biles’ poor wrapping skills are a revelation.

This year provided an exciting season for WNBA fans. A big factor in the league’s crossover success was the popularity of rookie Caitlin Clark. However, for longtime fans of the sport, it was a double-edged sword, as her presence brought more eyeballs to the product, but not all those eyeballs were respectful toward the game, or its players.

Clark’s breakout year is ending with her being named TIME’s Athlete of the Year. In an interview with the outlet, she’s finally addressing the racial issues that surround her success in the WNBA, even admitting that she experiences “privilege.”

“I want to say I’ve earned every single thing, but as a white person, there is privilege,” Clark said. “A lot of those players in the league that have been really good have been Black players. This league has kind of been built on them.”

Despite Clark’s acknowledgement of her “privilege,” there are still plenty of fans who took issue with her being named the Athlete of the Year when gymnast Simone Biles had a banner 2024. As usual, social media didn’t mince words while expressing themselves.

One user referenced the big difference in their professional accomplishments, writing on X, “By winning nothing? White Privilege at its height. Simones Biles broke Olympic records but @Time named a woman who won nothing as Athlete of the Year.”

Someone pointed out how spectacular Black women were in Paris this summer, writing on Bluesky, “Caitlin Clark is amazing, but come on. You also watched the Olympics & saw Simone Biles & Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.”

Simone Biles

Another person noted Clark’s lack of championships, posting, “Bullshit. Simone Biles, Patrick Mahomes and Shohei Ohtani were better than her. Did Caitlin win gold medals or championships? No. Whiteness at work.”

“Time not giving athlete of the year to Simone Biles or Katie Ledecky is a choice. Flowers to Caitlin Clark but she’ll have this opportunity in other years while these women likely won’t,” wrote one fan who recognized the limitations of Olympic athletes.

Another user laid out why there’s no comparison between the two athletes, writing, “And that’s not to take anything away from the talent that is Caitlin Clark. But if we’re talking about people who have SINGLE HANDEDLY changed the sport for the better? She’s not in the same conversations as Simone Biles.”

There’s no denying that there was a white savior narrative that definitely permeated the WNBA’s 2024 season, and women’s sports as a whole, a situation that annoyed longtime fans. There has to be room to acknowledge Clark’s influence while also making sure all the other amazing female athletes get their well-deserved flowers.

Exciting WCC Announcement Has Simone Biles’ and Others’ Gymnastics Future Looking Good

As a successful 2024 comes to an end, Simone Biles’ training center, WCC, owned by her parents, seems to be going through new beginnings and major revamps. This has been caused by the departures of the heavily successful duo Cecile Landi and Laurent Landi. Many were taken by surprise this week after the latter left. This is because while Cecile’s move to the University of Georgia seemed to be confirmed for quite some time, most thought that her husband Laurent would stick around until their daughter, who is a French diver, Julliete Landi, went to college. But this doesn’t seem to be the case, as the coaches who helped gymnasts like Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and countless others bid the Spring Texas gymnasium farewell. But fret not! This has now opened room for new arrivals in the gym to usher in a new era in the sport.

On December 11th, the World Championship Centre announced some quite big news on their Instagram page. Finally, after the departures of the Landis, the gym has added two new Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Program Directors to the team who could benefit them for years to come. The two new additions are Patrick Kiens and Daymon Jones, who joined the gym after earning loads of experience under the belt, mainly in European gymnastics.

The caption of the post read, “We are proud to introduce our new WAG Program Directors, Patrick Kiens and Daymon Jones. With 3 Olympics, 7 World Championships, 12 European Championships, and consulting at FIG for the new COP, they come with a wealth of knowledge and experience to continue WCC’s tradition of top-tier gymnastics and quality coaching. The future is bright! #WCCProud” Thus, the gym looked extremely happy about the two new members.

There’s every reason to be delighted too. Patrick Kiens and Daymon Jones both bring a plethora of experience and years of gymnastics along with them. Patrick was the head coach of the Romanian team in the 2024 Paris Olympics and was vital in Ana Barbosu’s bronze medal capture in the floor exercise. Other than that, he has coached in seven World Championships and 12 European Championships whilst being a FIG consultant.

His longest role in the sport till now was his nine years as the head coach of Dutch gym SV Pax Haarlemmermeer. There he had coached Dutch Olympian Eythora Thorsdottir for quite a while, taking her to the Tokyo Olympics. He had left the gym because he didn’t want to be part of Dutch gymnastics anymore and looked for better opportunities. Thus, Simone Biles’ gym might actually quite suit him well.

On the other hand, Daymon Jones was also a part of the Romanian coaching staff at the Paris Olympics. He has coached in five World Championships and seven European Championships while being a FIG consultant. Daymon is currently a part of the German coaching staff after his stints at the Sweden, Norway, and Netherlands national sides.

Simone Biles

Thus, he could also be a very valuable member of the team. This is what makes the future of Simone Biles’ WCC bright, as the members know what it takes to succeed in the sport and would do everything to reach there. It is exactly what was needed after the departures of Cecile and Laurent Landi that left a gaping hole and might have even put the gymnast’s future in doubt.

Jordan Chiles shares insights about Simone Biles’ gymnastics future

With so many changes taking place at Simone Biles’ WCC in addition to her retirement speculation after the Paris Olympics, many have been left wondering whether the gymnast will return to the sport. Many have debated the possibility of her competing at the LA Olympics. After all, she will be 31 when LA 28 rolls around. To add to the intrigue, Biles’ teammate and best friend Jordan Chiles was asked about this matter during her appearance on USA Today. The host had asked her whether Simone would be competing in the 2028 edition of the Games. But, unfortunately, Jordan seemed to be in the same position as most of us.

“I don’t know, honestly,” she confessed. However, Jordan did give fans more insight into what Simone Biles was thinking right now and whether she’s even contemplating her gymnastics future right now. “I think right now she’s just focusing on her husband being in the NFL, like going, you know, in Chicago and all this stuff, and she is definitely taking time to be herself,” she said.

Thus, Simone Biles’ future in sport remains unclear right now. She might not have made up her mind just yet. But the departures of Cecile and Laurent Landi mark a turning point in her career. Nevertheless, her legacy as the greatest to step foot on the mat has already been sealed. Anything else from here is additional. Do you think the GOAT will return to the mat for more? Simone Biles dons black leather skirt and blazer for stylish arrival at NBC Studios in New York City

Simone Biles arrived at the NBC Studios in New York City in style on Tuesday afternoon, donning a slick all-black outfit.

The gymnastics superstar radiated in confidence as she approached the studio in Manhattan for a guest appearance on the Kelly Clarkson show.

Biles sported a black leather blazer and a matching skirt as she was escorted into the building by security guards.

She also accessorized with a black fuzzy bucket hat and two silver necklaces to compliment the all-black ensemble.

Before getting spotted, Biles posted a mirror selfie showing her outfit inside an elevator on her Instagram story.

After bagging three gold and a silver medal for the United States at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Biles headlined the Gold Over America gymnastics tour across the states.

Whether or not she will continue competing as the Olympics are set to be in Los Angeles in 2028 remains in question.

Nonetheless, Biles has cemented herself as one of, if not the greatest, gymnasts with seven golds, two silvers, and two bronze medals across her decorated Olympic career.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens

Earlier this month, Biles was praised by her fellow ‘GOAT’ – tennis legend Serena Williams.

Williams, widely regarded as the best women’s tennis player in history, joined gymnastics icon Biles for an evening of ‘impactful conversation’ at an event hosted by high-end watch brand Audemars Piguet, Vanity Fair, and The Female Quotient on Wednesday.

The 23-time Grand Slam winner labeled Biles as much after sharing a series of photos from the event, which also included snaps with fashion model Winnie Harlow and Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Radhika Jones.

She wrote in the caption: ‘Yesterday, I sat with the GOAT @simonebiles at AN EVENING OF IMPACTFUL CONVERSATION with @audemarspiguet @vanityfair @femalequotient and a house full of women. I love to see it.’

“Scared”: Simone Biles Family Member Facing Trauma of Miscarriage, Makes a Heroic Confession

Earlier this year, Simone Biles’ sister-in-law, Sammi Biles, was forced to bid goodbye to her third miscarriage in four years. This loss came after Sammi revealed in June of the previous year that she had tragically lost her second baby, who had faced numerous complications. The pain was unbearable, and the years seemed so long, but as the year was coming to an end, it appeared that a Christmas miracle had come to bring light into the darkness of such grief. Just yesterday, Simone Biles’ brother and sister-in-law shared the joyous news that they’re expecting again, announcing with pure excitement, “GOD IS GOOD!!! I’m so grateful, blessed, and excited to share with everyone… WE’RE PREGNANT!!”

The happy parents-to-be, Ron and Sammi, revealed that their little one is due in June 2025, bringing a wave of love and gratitude. The announcement was made even more special with a carousel of touching photos, including the sonogram that read, “We share your joy,” marking this beautiful milestone in their journey. The couple expressed how over the moon they were, feeling deeply thankful as they reflected on the prayers answered by God. And now, Sammi, who has bravely faced the trauma of multiple miscarriages, has made a courageous confession as she opens up about the emotional rollercoaster of this new chapter.

On December 10, Sammi Biles took to her Instagram stories to share a heartfelt and hopeful update with her followers. She expressed deep gratitude, saying, “We are extremely thankful for every single prayer, comment, message, text, phone call, support, and encouragement… we see & acknowledge every single one of you & never forget who is in our small corner of the internet &, even more so, in our lives.” She reflected on the outpouring of love and support that has surrounded her and her family, reminding her that it truly “takes a village” and how much she appreciates everyone who’s stood by them. Sammi emphasized that sharing their journey isn’t about seeking sympathy, but about spreading hope and having faith.

Sammi also recalled a moment from earlier in the year, when she felt overwhelmed. “Looking back at my posts from August, I threw up my hands and said it’s too much for me to carry alone; I am not meant to be in control. He is.” She continued by acknowledging the difference between the beginning and end of the year, noting, “We started 2024 with a miscarriage & now ending 2024 with a pregnancy. Am I scared? Yes. Am I hopeful for redemption? Yes,” she said, reminding us that both emotions can coexist.
With a deep sense of gratitude, Sammi thanked everyone for their love and support. “Thank you, thank you, thank you for loving us.” She also extended a message to others who might be struggling with similar battles: “If you are in the thick of it right now or closing that chapter, please know that you are not forgotten about. It breaks my heart to see friends in the trenches, and I so desperately pray for God to wrap you in His arms filled with peace.” She ended her message with love from her family, saying, “Love—the Biles fam.”
Simone Biles

As they step into this new chapter, Simone Biles’ sister-in-law, Sammi, faced yet another heartbreaking miscarriage before all of this, and even baby Biles, Ronnie, has had her share of struggles along the way. Despite the tough times, each member of the family has shown incredible strength and resilience. Through the ups and downs, they’ve kept pushing forward, with Ronnie now in a better place and Junior Biles soon on the way!

Junior Biles: An answer to the prayers?

Back in June 2023, Simone Biles’ family member shared the sad revelation: “Ronni would have had a little sister.” In her open post, she shared her feelings, reflecting on the pain of her second miscarriage, a grief that felt all too familiar after her first loss, which had happened over nine weeks into pregnancy. As sad as the story may be Sammi and Ron have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl whom they named Ronni. But life threw another curveball their way when little Ronni had a major health scare before her first birthday. Sammi shared a terrifying moment on Instagram, showing a T-shirt stained with blood and describing the panic of finding Ronni vomiting blood after a fever. “Thank God she’s ok,” Sammi said with much relief after their daughter was given the clear.

Despite the fact, that she has faced a severe struggle on the way to motherhood, including infertility issues, and miscarriages in the past years, Sammi has always been prayerful. She reflected on the struggle, asking, “I don’t understand why something is given only to be taken away?” Yet, she also found strength in her unwavering belief that “God does and I have to trust His plan for us and our family.” That trust led her to IVF, a process that Sammi recounted as being as treacherous. She fearlessly managed the process, as she was aware of how exhausting and challenging it could be–to the person’s patience, relationship, and sanity.

But through it all, Sammi is standing strong, filled with gratitude and anticipation for the new life growing inside her. Her resilient spirit shines through as she shares the bittersweet joy of this new chapter. As for little Ronni, she’s already buzzing with excitement, kissing her mom’s belly and wishing for a baby sister. Could the Biles family be about to welcome another future gymnastics champ? Well, you know what they say: the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Let’s see what the future holds for this beautiful, strong family!

Simone Biles Being Coachless at WCC Sparks Mixed Feelings Among Fans: “Thought He Was Staying Longer”

Simone Biles might have suffered another setback in her quest for a return to gymnastics after the Paris Olympics. After Cecile Landi left the gym WCC, now it seems that her husband Laurent Landi, who also coaches Simone, followed her to the door. This was made clear in WCC’s recent Instagram story where they wished goodbye to their long-term coach.

It seemed to be quite emotional as Simone Biles’ coach bid farewell to his students as the story was captioned, “FAREWELL TO LAURENT!!!” Thus, it seems that Laurent Landi might be looking for new opportunities. This comes after his wife, Cecile Landi, also announced her departure from the college after the Paris Olympics to join the University of Georgia as their new co-head coach.

It led to quite an emotional moment for the gymnastics community as both Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles, two of her most prominent students, expressed their gratitude for her work and wished her well for her future endeavors. But now with Laurent Landi also leaving, fans of Simone Biles seem a bit concerned about the future of WCC as a gym. Laurent and Cecile were both quite vital members in the working of the whole place, and their departure would definitely be felt.

In a Reddit post, the gymnastics community debated the consequences of this decision. User No_League9317 uploaded a post with a write-up saying, “Based on some Instagram stories, it looks like it’s Laurent’s last day at WCC. I thought he was going to be there for this season, but guess not. Anyone know where he’s going and who his replacement is at WCC?”

This led to the whole community going into the debate about the situation, with many speculating on Laurent Landi’s future while others spoke about the surprise element in the decision. Many hadn’t expected that Laurent would leave the gym now, especially after Cecile Landi’s departure. Thus, the decision seemed interesting and incited a debate among fans.

Fans react to Simone Biles’ coach’s departure from WCC

Many in the gymnastics community were puzzled by the timing of Simone Biles’ coach Laurent Landi’s departure. Many had assumed he would remain at WCC for a longer period, particularly to oversee his daughter, Juliette Landi, until she entered college and potentially competed in the NCAA. However, this speculation has proven inaccurate, as it appears the Landis are moving on now.

“I thought the plan was to stay until Juliette graduates high school. She’s only got just over half a year left, doesn’t she?” said one fan talking about the same situation. Others debated about the coach’s future now that he has left Simone Biles. Most came to the conclusion that he would be joining his wife, Cecile Landi, at the University of Georgia in a role that has not yet been disclosed. Ever since the couple started pursuing coaching in 1999, they have always been there together as a team rather than as individuals.

This left many surprised when Cecile announced her departure, as the University of Georgia would’ve been her first individual job. However, it seems like her husband, Laurent, might join the university soon and support her in some capacity. “If he’s leaving WCC now, he’s going to Athens. The Landis had said before that he would rejoin Cecile once he finished up there. As far as I know, there’s no word on a replacement yet, nor is there any word on if/in what capacity he’ll continue with gymnastics.” Many fans speculated about who will replace Landi’s in Simone Biles’ WCC.

After Cecile Landi, it is time for Laurent Landi to bid adieu to the World Champions Center. The WCC’s recent Instagram story captured Laurent’s emotional goodbye to his students, the image tinged with the bittersweet scent of finality. The story was captioned, “FAREWELL TO LAURENT!!!” Just after the conclusion of the Paris Olympics, Cecile Landi left the facility to take up a new role as the co-head coach of the University of Georgia. Now, with the new year approaching, Laurent Landi too, has packed his bags. A former member of the French national team, Landi decided to pursue his career in coaching in 1999.

Initially, he landed as a coach in his club in Antibes. After gaining significant experience in 2002, he got his big break when he worked with the French Gymnastics National team in Marseille. After moving to Oklahoma in 2004 with Cecile, he took up a job at the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy. It was from here that Landi started working with the big names.

Laurent Landi and Simone Biles flourish under each other’s influence

Working at the WOGA, Landi took icons like Alyssa Baumann, Briley Casanova, Madison Kocian, and more under his wings. While these names were already established in the gymnastics realm, it was not until he joined the WCC that he got to show his expertise as a world-class coach. And one of his biggest achievements in the WCC will always be Simone Biles. When Landi first met Biles, she was a budding star. However, more fine-tuning was required to craft a legend out of her.

And without a hint of doubt, Landi succeeded in doing so with flying colors. Trying to break the stereotypes, Landi moved out of France to contribute to the sport in more meaningful ways. However, after watching Biles initially, he knew what he had to do. Speaking about training the legendary gymnast, Landi stated that he had to take a completely different approach. While Biles never fit into the stereotypical boxes of a gymnast, Landi never asked her to follow traditional methods.

Instead, he devised an entirely different routine for Biles and let her natural instincts do the needful. Speaking about his approach towards training Biles, Landi stated, “We’re not always right. If you do your own way all the time, you will hurt the majority of the athletes. Maybe one will survive and will be an amazing person, amazing athlete but the (other) 90%, they will be broken. … We had to adjust to Simone, otherwise we would have broke her.” Well, now that Landi will be leaving the WCC, this might put Simone Biles’ career in some serious jeopardy.

Simone Biles

While there have been a lot of rumors regarding Biles retiring after the Paris Olympics, nothing conclusive has been said by the legend. In fact, she also left open the possibility of her coming back to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Thus, without her mentor, her practice sessions will surely take a hit from now on. However, it is not clear whether Biles will be following Laurent Landi for training or if she will be hiring a new coach in the future. Even with the difficult goodbye, marked by bittersweet smiles and the exchange of heartfelt words, Biles will always remain close to the Landi.

Simone Biles regards the Landi as her family

Simone Biles had to face a lot of trolling and trauma en route to becoming a legend. Bullied for her height and color, Biles was told that she could never make it big in gymnastics. Thankfully, after being guided ably by Aimee Boorman, the gymnastics GOAT found Laurent and Cecile Landi. Not only did they transform Biles into a world-class athlete, but they also formed an inseparable bond that lasts even today. Speaking about their relationship, Biles mentioned that she regarded the ratio as more of a partnership.

“They’ve been big mentors in like my adulthood (because) they got to see and harness the more mature Simone. They’ve helped me a lot not just in the gym but out of the gym, too,” an overwhelmed Biles stated. She reflected on the sacrifices Laurent made just to make her train. Biles mentioned that as she got married and got involved with a host of other things, it was Laurent who made the adjustments to accommodate training the legend.

The 27-year-old stated that whenever she talked about missing practice, Laurent would initially panic and ‘freak out’. However, after calming down and taking a glance at the calendar, the Frenchman would start making alternate plans to accommodate Biles and help her reach her goals. Thus, with such a heartfelt ratio between the duo, it remains to be seen what future updates come from the iconic pair.
