Top American gymnast Simone Biles will be joining UBS’ Asian Investment Conference next week as a speaker in Hong Kong.
Simone Biles, a US gymnast who has won 41 medals in international competitions including seven Olympic gold medals, is taking part in UBS’ 28th Asian Investment Conference (AIC) as a speaker next week in Hong Kong, according to a statement.
She will be joined by Amy Lo, chair, UBS Global Wealth Management Asia, head and chief executive, UBS Hong Kong, in a fireside chat to discuss her journey as a world-class athlete. Biles will also address 600 young athletes and fans across the city’s gymnastics clubs and community sports organizations in conjunction with Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA show, of which UBS is the presenting partner.

According to the bank, this year’s AIC has seen record attendance from both investors and corporates. The number of registered participants grew 20 percent year-on-year to 3,500 which includes around 2,000 senior institutional investors, hedge funds, and asset managers, as well as more than 400 of Asia’s largest family offices and ultra-high net worth investors. Senior executives will also be featured from over 360 companies, up 30 percent.
The conference will be held in Hong Kong from May 27 to 30.
